Teen Life Skills

A look at four key life skills that parents can help their teens learn. They benefit from this period at home to get ready for independent living. There is no reason in the modern era why sons are leaving home not able to cook or carry out domestic tasks on a regular basis. It is of huge benefit to a teen with their expanded brain capacity to develop good daily habits in the present. It is easier to adopt new positive habits as a young adult leaving home compared to trying to break fossilised habits gained over a number of years.
