Public Speaking
My areas of interest for public speaking in schools and colleges include – ‘a new way to look at failing’ and ‘how to build personal grit’ as well as a range of topics that help young adults to become aware of their potential and learn how to deal with adversity.
I recently delivered a talk to a group of potential Oxbridge A level students on the ‘Science of Habits’. This system of maximising self potential is based on a commitment to small changes to daily habits that over time result in significant benefits.
Young adults and school age pupils are growing up in a time of constant change and uncertainty. The period of lockdown with its social isolation, fears for the health of family members and general ‘strangeness’ has had a lasting impact on the levels of resilience and optimism amongst countless young people.
By delivering talks in schools and colleges based on cultivating the growth mindset and the daily habits of successful athletes, writers and business leaders I aim to equip students with the essential qualities to navigate modern life.
